Andy Kerr MSP jailed over attack

A WOMAN suffered memory loss and told doctors she was "seeing flashing lights" months after her burly boyfriend repeatedly smashed her head against a kerbstone.

Now the brute who left 62-year-old Sharon Colquhoun unconscious has been locked up for 10 months for the serious assault.

Andy Kerr, 47 was sentenced today and on condition when he is released must complete a batterer's treatment program.

A spokeswoman for the Labour party said " I never did like that one ".
